Empowering People to Heal Themselves

The inspiration behind plant-based4health.com is Stefan Parnay who, with the support of his family, healed himself of an aggressive form of prostate cancer at the age of 47. Rather than rush to surgery as his doctors urged, Stefan and his family embarked on a plan to make his body inhospitable to cancer while boosting his immune system. He adopted a low glycemic, alkalizing, plant-based diet; took natural supplements under the supervision of a holistic nutritionist; exercised and meditated daily; and met with an energy healer. After six months, Stefan’s biopsy results came back negative. Stefan was completely cancer free and remains cancer free to this day! Plant-based4health.com embraces a holistic approach to healing and wellness (mind, body, and spirit). Through personal experience and in-depth research, we have learned that healing from illness and chronic diseases begins with healthy lifestyle choices that affect diet along with physical and emotional well-being.

Nutrition

Our first hand experience with the healing power of food confirms the scientific studies and evidence-based articles from renowned experts who continue to demonstrate that a whole food, plant-based vegan diet helps in the prevention of chronic illnesses and can reverse cancer, heart disease and Type 2 diabetes. These experts include The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Dr. Michael Greger, Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. T. Colin Campbell, Dr. John McDougall and many others.

Physical and Emotional Well-being

Physical exercise and meditation is not only a great way to release the stresses of our daily lives, but it calms our fight-or-flight instincts that use up our body’s energy reserves so it can focus on healing. In addition, combined with diet, the health of our lungs and our breath plays a significant role in creating a healing environment as these activities oxygenate our cells while breaking down waste products and toxins that regulate the body’s pH (read about the importance of balancing your pH). Science has proven that most diseases can only exist in an acidic environment, making balancing your body’s pH a critical step in your healing process.

We have all heard the term “the mind body connection.” What we think and feel contribute to our physical reality. Through the support of energy medicine (energy healing), we have yet another tool for releasing emotional blocks and curing illness. Energy medicine is based on quantum physics. Physicists have proven that our bodies are made up of a matrix of energy pathways. These pathways create a link between our outer and inner worlds. When we are at peace the energy flows freely, allowing our bodies to function at optimum levels. When we are experiencing chronic stress, depression, fear, anxiety, etc., our energy pathways become blocked, allowing illness and disease to set in. There are many different kinds of energy healing modalities — no one way is the “right” way. Energy healers help people identify and release sustained negative blocks, emotions or belief systems that are the root cause of many illnesses.
